I think that is not the case when you look at that but its way much better in the older days and the way the Clark is looking in the mirror for the ladies make me laugh that part is not that much different from this time always ready for girls ...
"Circus" doesn't do justice to the current state of F-1. Don't know what single word would. "American-style professional football ownership, stadiums, and rules meets Goldman Sachs," or something along those lines.
It took some time for me to understand, that the relaxed looking Jim Clark was not regarding the rear wheels of his car, but the two ladies behind him... Wonderful shot, coming from long gone days. Today, it seems to be unbelievable, what the racing drivers of this era were doing. Romantic attitude with the steady presence of cruel risks... At the beginning of April it was 45 years ago, that Jim Clark died in Hockenheim; as a child I was very sad to hear about that and still I am, when I think on it...
