I started reading Road and Track magazine at a very young age. I always loved the "PS" image at the back of the magazine. This is one of my all time favs recently re-discovered thanks to the magic of google.

unless he was on winter tires, i'd say the culprit was bob not knowing the intended use of his summer tires in what appears to be decidedly not summer driving conditions.

of course, blaming the equipment is always more convenient than owning up to user error.

It was 1983, but they re-published it a few times, I think.

Hey i took that shot. It was first published in 1983, but the pic was taken in the fall of 82. St Catharines Ontario Canada. He'd had the car less than a week.
