Now who's the Smart One?

It's not every day that you see this random pairing on the streets of any American city. I must say that I was surprised to see that the Smart Car is actually even shorter than the original Mini.  But I'll take the Mini hands down, thanks.

whoa, nice catch. with that thule cargo carrier, i'll bet the smart - mediocre on fuel economy to begin with, relative to its size and competition - gets all of about 25 MPG.

Look how low the original Mini is in relation to modern cars. You think the "New" Mini would have made it around the streets of France in the Bourne movie?? I think not. And that smart car would fliip over at speed(that is if you could get it going fast enough). SUV mentality is taking over the world even on small cars. Both those things in front of the little Mini are huge.

The mini is infinitely more desirable. And minilites are the perfect compliment.

I may be mistaken, but from the angle of the pic, that mini might actually be a Wolseley 1000. If so, even nicer of a catch !!

The Mini seats 4 passengers inside its cabin. It's surprisingly roomy too. The Smart can carry 3 passengers - 2 squashed in the cabin and 1 in the thule.

Mini always wins against a smart.
