Swing Low Sweet Cadillac

The 1971 Eldorado has a surprising level of presence and refinement, particularly the chamfered tail treatment. This particular example was really stunning. I need to stop posting pics of Cadillacs, I know.

There is something entrancing about Cadillacs - no shame in some adoration on the site!
The tail lights on the next incarnation, the one that shared chassis w/ the Olds Toronado, were even nicer. The whole car was atypically crisp for a Caddy.
My buddy got one for $50 once. He put some ATF in the cylinders for a few days to free up the rings and it started right up. We drove the crap out of it.
The frame has a V-angle to prevent it from scraping the ground in corners, as it rolls quite a bit and is very low slung. This also had one of the few GM engines I liked, and a heavy duty transaxle which could be found in a number of strange beasts, including the Toronado and the GMC Motorhomes.
